1. Things you need
- Is the heat sink attached to the CPU
- Is the RTC Battery plugged in the pin header
- Power adapter with 3-4A @ 5V. 5.5/2.1mm DC jack
- Up Board
- Screen
- HDMI cable with type A male connector
- Keyboard & mouse to control your up board Basler
- dart camera
- USB 3.0 OTG cable and adapter
- USB Drive for loading the OS (min. 2 GB)
2. Installing OS
For OS you can choose between:
Ubuntu:
To install Ubuntu, please follow the instructions of this Page
Windows:
To install Windows10 you can download the Install guide for Microsoft Windows 10 and follow the instructions to setup your UP board. Alternatively you can follow the Videos and Tutorials from the Up Community:
3. Installing Pylon
For Ubuntu
- choose pylon Camera Software Suite Linux x86 (64 Bit)
- follow the instructions in readme.txt to install the software
For Windows
- choose pylon Camera Software Suite Windows
- execute the .exe
4. Run Basler dart camera with pylon
- Connect the Basler dart camera via USB3 cable and USB3 OTG cable adapter to USB3 OTG port of UP Board
- Launch the pylon Viewer
- Double-click on the dart camera in the pylon Viewer’s camera tree to open the camera
- Click on the Continuous Shot button in the pylon Viewer to display a camera live view
