If Imaginghub is accessed, the following data is processed and saved for a period of 7 days on the web server:

The collected data previously described is exclusively used for statistical purposes in order to gain an overview of the frequency of the access of individual segment offers. This evaluation helps us customize our web offers for your needs. This information is neither shared with third parties nor used for any other evaluation.

Data security

To protect your data from unwanted access as comprehensively as possible, we take technical and organizational measures. We use an encryption process on our websites. Your data is transferred from your computer to our server and vice versa via the Internet using TLS encryption. In most cases you can recognize this by the appearance of the closed lock symbol in the status bar of your browser, and the prefix https:// in the address line.
 

 

Registration & newsletter

To be able to use certain services (e.g. using messaging service for users) on Imaginghub you will need to create a user account giving your name and e-mail address. As an alternative, you can single-sign-on with an existing LinkedIn or Github account – in doing so, we do not collect any additional data from your LinkedIn or Github profile or link to any additional services. We will send a confirmation link to the email address provided by you. By clicking the link you will get redirected to Imaginghub and your registration is completed.

With registration on the Imaginghub, you can register for our newsletter. If you register for the newsletter, we use your username and email address for the purpose of distributing our newsletter.


To qualify your email address for the newsletter  you will be required to confirm your subscription by clicking a confirmation link sent to the email address provided. By confirming your email address, you will begin to receive our newsletter.

At the end of every newsletter, you will find a link to unsubscribe from mailings. You can also unsubscribe with writing an email to support@imaginghub.com with subject “newsletter unsubscription” and your username and email address, you want to unsubscribe.

The data that you provide will not be used for any other purpose than your registration on Imaginghub and delivering our newsletter, if you have registered for it as well. We will not forward your data to any third person.

Your user account will be stored as long as the forum is offered and you have not requested deletion. To delete your user account, please contact support@imaginghub.com.

 

Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of your account login information and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorized use, or suspected unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. We cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with the above requirements.
 

Published content

Your users profile picture and username are publicly visible for registered and not-registered forum users. All content in public projects and as your participation in public projects is publicly visible as well, unless the project is marked as private project and not marked. A private project can only be seen by you and the other project members. A private project cannot be followed and will not appear on the overview page. Exception: projects, that are looking for project members (participation wanted).
While using the forum you can earn points to be displayed on the leaderboard. The top 50 users with the highest scores are displayed publicly.

If you publish content on Imaginghub you shall comply with the provision of the Terms of Use. To protect you and other users from any misconduct according the Terms of Use, we have the right in our sole discretion to moderate (9am-6pm CET) the forum and refuse or remove any content that you made available on Imaginghub.

 

Interaction with other users

The Service provide you the ability to interact with other users via messaging. Such interactions are solely between you and other users, and we are not responsible or liable for such interactions or any consequences thereof.
You have the possibility to block user and to report them to the Community Management, if they send messages not complying with the Terms of Use.

Forms

Personally relevant data which is entered into a form on Imaginghub is thereby used to establish contact with you and to provide you with the requested information.
As an international company, all of our companies depend on having access to the same type of information. For this reason we transmit customer information to our subsidiaries, distributors and partner companies as necessary in individual cases. We do not forward personal information to any other third parties.

Storage duration

Unless we have already informed you in detail about the storage period, we delete personal data when they are no longer required for the aforementioned processing purposes and no legal retention obligations prevent deletion.

Other processors

We share your data with service providers who support us in the operation of our websites and related processes as part of order processing pursuant to Article 28 GDPR. These are, for example, hosting service providers. Our service providers are strictly bound by instructions to us and are contractually obligated accordingly.

Your rights as a data subject

Please note that the revocation is only effective for the future. Processing that took place before the revocation is not affected.

Right of objection (Article 21 GDPR)

If data is collected on the basis of Article 6 (1) f. GDPR (data processing on the basis of legitimate interests) or on the basis of Article 6 (1) e. GDPR (data processing for the protection of public interest or in the exercise of official authority), you have the right to object to the processing at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation. We will then no longer process the personal data unless there are demonstrably compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.

Right of appeal to a supervisory authority (Article 77 GDPR)

Pursuant to Article 77 GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if in your opinion the processing of your data violates data privacy provisions.
