Yep, it works. I just tested the barcode reader project with it the other day.
only hiccup was that I had to add c++ 11 to the makefiles in the sdk:
CXXFLAGS := -std::C++11
I think I remembered that right. If not just let me know and I'll look it up for sure. :)
i used the latest Ubuntu 16.04 btw, but I also had it running on 15.10 too.
