Fingerprint or face recognition?
My phone has different options for security: fingerprint, face recognition, and even an iris scanner. What option is better?

It is a matter of preference. For me, the fingerprint method is more convenient. It works faster.
I suppose the topic starter asked about more technical things than just convenience. In terms of reliability, many experts argue that fingerprint is better. Computer vision models can make mistakes when recognizing faces. It is especially important when you have relatives which look like you. Also, it is sometimes possible to unlock the phone by showing the photo of the owner to the camera.
Yeah, I agree that fingerprint is a more reliable way. I have heard about cases when the camera was tricked by showing the face of the sleeping person. It is more difficult to take the finger of the sleeping person.
But modern phones are able to distinct sleeping faces. Moreover, they can scan iris to provide the same level of security. It is known that human irises are unique, just like fingerprints. So, personally I prefer face recognition option.ha
Ok, but besides the security, there are also other factors. For example, the speed of unlocking. It takes more time to recognize face than to recognize the fingerprint. Also, in some conditions, it is harder to unlock the phone with the face (hat, different angles, lack of light, etc.).
Think about similar bad cases for fingerprint. For example, when you are not able to unlock the phone because your hands are wet.
Thanks, guys. I have got a lot of new information from your discussion. However, I think that it is actually a matter of personal convenience.
