Ready for the next level: Imaginghub is leaving the beta phase

Past, present and future of the Imaginghub

We launched the Imaginghub on September 1, 2016 and it has been a fun and crazy ride so far. A lot has changed since we started, but first and foremost, we’d like to thank you, the users! Without you, the Imaginghub community would not exist. We hope that the community keeps on growing and are very much looking forward to the future.

So what has changed since the launch?

Where do we start? We launched a blog area, where you can find technical articles as well as tutorials. We publish new content each month. If you have ideas for a new blog article or would like to read a tutorial on a specific topic, then send us an e-mail to contributor@imaginghub.com. Are you interested in becoming a contributor for our blog? Then drop us a line as well.

We held two contests and are planning on more contests in the future. More information on that is coming soon – keep an eye on our blog.

We did an embedded vision survey – thank you to everyone who participated! We will publish the results soon.

Since January 2018, we keep you updated about the latest events on the Imaginghub website with our newsletter. To receive the newsletter, simply register on our website and subscribe to the newsletter or go to your Imaginghub profile to activate the newsletter registration. Have a look at our screenshot to see how that works:

Do you know our leader board yet? You can collect points for different actions on the Imaginghub website and then reach different levels. Are you ready to crack the high score?

This is how you can get points: https://imaginghub.com/levels-and-points

Here you can find our current high score list: https://imaginghub.com/leaderboard

Let’s not forget our first anniversary. We celebrated by creating our own little game – Hextris! It is still available, if you want to play again or if you missed it the first time: Start Hextris

We also brushed up the layout of our website. We optimized the forum and project pages and improved the website’s structure for a better usability. It is now also easier to edit your projects and to browse through the partner pages. Additionally, we optimized the website search. You can now find search results even better and see them in a more structured layout. If you have any comments, requests or questions about this, feel free to send us an e-mail.

What does the future hold for the Imaginghub?

The Imaginghub will continue to be your source for all about embedded vision ideas, applications and design. We want to give you even more options for participating. You will also get the chance to get in direct contact with other members and keep up to date. We want you to be able to get more involved and we’d like to let you have a say in what kind of content you’ll find on the Imaginghub.

Do you have any suggestions for improvement or are there some features missing you’d like to have? We’re constantly trying to improve the Imaginghub, so please feel free to give us your feedback.

As you can see, there are even more exciting times ahead of us. Stay tuned. :)
